What a live-in caregiver does
Duties are tailored to the client’s condition and the family’s routine, and working hours and rest time are set out in the contract. Most often they include the following.
Care and health
- Medication as prescribed by the doctor, with a medication log
- Monitoring blood pressure, pulse, blood sugar and general wellbeing
- Morning and evening hygiene, help with dressing and mobility
- Fall and pressure sore prevention for low-mobility clients
- Help at night when needed

Service pricing and cooperation terms
We work transparently: you understand the interaction format and fee structure in advance.
Ranges from 12% to 22% of the specialist’s annual salary and depends on the country of recruitment, the level of the position, the urgency of the search, and the selected contract format. The replacement guarantee period ranges from 6 to 12 months, and the number of replacements depends on the selected contract.
Payment is made in two stages: an initial deposit is required to confirm the order and start work on the request, and the remaining balance is paid after the candidate has been approved.
Special conditions are available for returning clients, repeat requests, and orders involving the selection of several specialists for one family.

A live-in caregiver lives in the client’s home and provides care, attention and safety throughout the day and, when needed, at night. Families choose this format when an elderly relative can no longer live alone but they want to keep familiar home surroundings instead of a care home. A permanent caregiver gets to know the client’s character, habits and condition, quickly notices changes and becomes a close, reliable person for them.
Royal Keeper selects live-in caregivers with medical training and experience in elderly care, including dementia, recovery after a stroke, fracture or surgery, chronic conditions and bedridden patients. The caregiver monitors medication and wellbeing, helps with hygiene, meals and mobility, accompanies the client to doctors, keeps their room in order and keeps the family informed. A caregiver does not replace a doctor and follows the doctor’s instructions.
Every candidate is vetted: interview, education documents, references from previous employers and a background check. We help agree living conditions, working hours, days off and holidays, draw up a contract in line with local law and, if care must continue without breaks, find a relief caregiver for days off.
